Hammer toes
The emergence of hammer toes can have various causes. A possible cause of hammer toes is having a tilted (falling) foot. But also a hollow foot (pes cavus) or shortened toe extenders (extensors) can be the cause. Forefoot complaints or pain at the lumps will then be most of the time the complaints.
Having hammer toes is not a condition itself, but is a consequence of another condition. In most cases it is necessary to correct the foot position. A corrective footbed or a slipper or sandal from Zlippo is then a very suitable aid. Both can improve stability and thus the walking comfort.
